How long have you been in business?
We have been a registered kennel since 1928.
What is your primary product or service?
We are primarily a pet boarding facility, but also offer daycare and grooming services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am the third generation owner of this business, so I come by love of animals naturally.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer more than just a facility for caring for pets, we offer educated advice, share our pet knowledge, and help in finding reliable breeders, trainers, and veterinarians for our clients and those just needing a resource.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have just one location and have no plans to expand.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are on Adams Rd., a 1/2 mile North of Big Beaver on the east side of the road. There is a large red mailbox out front.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept only cash and check.
Which areas do you service?
We service all the local communities; Birmingham, Bloomfield, Clawson, Ferndale, Rochester, Royal Oak, Sterling Heights, Troy, Utica. However, we have a great many clients who will drive from Clarkston, Grand Blanc, and even Petosky.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Erika Bergishagen is the 3rd generation owner of the kennel. Missy Cole is the manager.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday-Friday from 7:00-6:00, Saturday from 7:00- 1:00, and Sunday from 8:00-10:00 am only. We are closed all major holidays.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
To see their dogs dragging them to the front door to come for a visit!
