Choice Aquariums, LLC is a retailer of livestock, equipment, supplies, and services to the ornamental fish hobby. Our business is organized in three segments, retail stores, service, and e-retail.
From our retail store location in Farmington Hills Michigan, we service hobbyists with an outstanding selection of quality products like Aqueon, Oceanic, SeaClear, and Clarity Plus aquariums. We are also the best source for equipment like Tunze and Deltec, where Choice Aquariums is the authorized dealer for Metro-Detroit. Along with equipment, Choice Aquariums offers an excellent array of supplies that includes SeaChem, Ocean Nutrition, and Tropic Marin. Beyond our depth of product offerings, the key to our success has been our ability to bring the highest quality, most healthy livestock specimens to market. We maintain our livestock in the cleanest conditions to provide our customers with the healthiest tropical & marine fish specimens, aquatic plants, discus, marine corals and other invertebrates.
Our service company provides both residential and commercial clients with system design, installation, and routine maintenance. Aquarium system designs can be accomplished with standard products for a freestanding set-up or may reach a scope of custom design, built-in and remote plumbed systems, depending on the desire of the client. Routine maintenance can range from regularly scheduled weekly, semimonthly, or monthly visits to what we refer to as a periodic, where the client only calls when services is required. The services performed range from system installation, livestock installation, cleaning, water changes, chemistry management, and feedings.
E-retail was established to provide customers outside of the immediate Metro-Detroit market access to our high quality, healthy, and diverse collection of marine fish, corals and other invertebrates, as well as discus. We ship livestock to clients from a collection of Michigan locations that include our Farmington Hills store, offsite marine holding, discus hatchery, and coral frag & grow operations.
