GIRDLE
In December of 2002, GIRDLE, God Is Raising Devoted Ladies for Excellence a women’s support system was founded. GIRDLE is a women’s support-networking system designed to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing mental, spiritual and physical encouragement and assistance to women, (ages twelve and older) originated in Pontiac, Michigan. GIRDLE has created an environment in which women are maturing, learning and growing together. We have discovered that the women in our community desire and need the fellowship and support that GIRDLE provides. Monthly we serve an average of 25 participants.
In 2014 GIRDLE re-organized to include deliverance with education and support. Directed by Catherine Garry-Johnson, GIRDLE is designed to provide assistance and shape the lives of women, ages twelve and older, empowering them with the principles of Jesus Christ enabling women to meet their full potential.
GIRDLE’s aim is to develop young and matured women into mentally, spiritually, and physically healthy individuals that are productive in their homes, families, work and communities.
