At the Orchard Lake School of Music, we teach a wide variety of styles, from classical to popular music. Whether you want to learn Bach or Alicia Keys, our teachers are happy to help you become the musician you want to be. Our instructors will teach you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique, and music theory, but they will also incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons. Call today to register!

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
OLSM has been in two locations before 1995 when we moved to this location. We have 9 class rooms, a musicianship lab, waiting area, and a multipurpose room with two 6 ft Baldwin Grand Pianos.

Orchard Lake School of Music is at 2097 Orchard Lake Rd, Sylvan Lake, MI 48320. We are 1/2 mile west of Telegraph Rd. (US-24) (Home Depot) and 2 blocks east of Middlebelt Rd. (Middlebelt Road ends at Orchard Lake Rd. - Turn Right)

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Orchard Lake School of Music Director Ted Wade is responsible for daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Lessons: Monday - Friday 2 pm to 8 pm. Saturday 8 am to 2 pm.
Office Hours differ from teaching hours. We try to answer the telephone when the school office is unoccupied as the calls are forwarded to Ted Wade from 10 am to 9 pm. If Ted is unable to answer, he will return your call as soon as possible.
The school office is open Monday - Thursday from 3 to 6 pm when classes are in session.
