How long have you been in business?
Howlands has been serving Oakland county since 1940. We have expanded from trailers to also include truck accessories and snow plows. Our team boasts of over 25 yrs experience in installing truck accessories the right way. We are now building our own tube style trailers. These are heavy duty landscaping trailers.
What is your primary product or service?
Anything to do with trailers and truck accessories, hitches,and maintenance and inspection.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Began working for a competitor and didn't like the way customers were being treated. I saw the opportunity to serve the customer in a far better way and soon expanded.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are experienced in what we do. Not just saying it but hearing it from our customers. Our primary marketing come from our customers. We have also been in business longer than anyone in the area which results in more experience with what the customer needs.
