Worked for Estee Lauder for 5 years over 20 years ago, and became one of their freelance makeup artist. I was approached by a District Manager in a retail store in Boston, to meet for coffee, and that was my start.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Clients can come to my home studio and they feel very comfortable in this setting, instead of having their makeup applied in a salon with many people around. I have kept my price the same for over 17 years.
